Process Runner: a workflow story, made playable

What if the friction in a business process was something a visitor could feel in a short round? Process Runner gives bottlenecks, milestones and momentum a visible role in the rules.

The communication brief

Help a visitor connect workflow friction with the value of a smoother path through work.

Product → mechanic → conversation

Why the rules look this way.

01

The obstacle

Bottlenecks interrupt progress and reduce the Happy Path meter. The player has a reason to notice them.

02

The action

Changing lanes and collecting milestones gives the player a way to recover momentum. Action Flow adds a boost.

03

The outcome

Keeping the run moving becomes a simple metaphor for improving a process. The score gives the rep a shared moment to refer to.

After the round

Where does work get stuck in your process?

Start with the moment the visitor just experienced. Ask where their own process slows down, listen for one specific step, then show the relevant part of the product. The game creates the opening; the rep makes it useful.

Your version

Keep the idea.
Build your own world.

For a new workflow product, we would identify the few obstacles that matter to its buyers, choose approved product vocabulary and design the action that represents improvement. We would also plan the finish screen and the next conversation. This reference does not mean every workflow needs the same runner format.
